Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Dr. Ali Torveau knows just how fragile life can be—she sees death and tragedy every day in the trauma unit. Battling the dark forces of fate is her life’s work and she doesn’t want or need anything else, certainly nothing as transient as love. Plenty of women try to change her mind, but she never has any trouble saying no. Not until the day firefighter Beau Cross shows up in her ER and sets Ali’s carefully ordered world aflame.

5 out of 5 stars A winner   August 27, 2010
TerryB (Truro, UK)
Dr Ali Torveau, trauma surgeon, deals with death and tragedy almost every day in the trauma unit. She is also nursing a personal tragedy, so the last thing she wants or needs is to fall in love.
Beau Cross, firefighter turns up in Ali's unit one day. She is also nursing a personal tragedy and doesn't want or need to fall in love. But sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you try not to, or fight it, the inevitable is going to happen.
This is definitely a brilliant start to a new first responders series. There are some much loved characters from previous books too. But the book is complete in it's self. Roll on the next one.

5 out of 5 stars Radclyffe does it again!   August 15, 2010
Sapphy (New York City)

Radclyffe at her best once again! Wonderful love atory. Has some very exciting moments also. The scene with the gunman will keep you riveted. She also brought back
Wynter and Pearce from the "Turn back time" book. And that was a wonderful surprise because she gives the reader a look at how their life together has evolved, loved it.
The love that develops between Beau and Ali is very touching. You'll cheer for them in the end. Another great book!!

5 out of 5 stars Really Enjoyed - Simple Falling in Love Story   August 10, 2010

There were so many things I liked about Radclyffe's "Trauma Alert" - the denial of feelings, the simmering sexual undertone and the great use of supporting characters to name a few. I started reading this at work, and tried so many times to put it down, but the friendship and love between Beau and Ali was too much....I had to finish it. A simple love story that you can enjoy without overthinking.

5 out of 5 stars Another great book!   August 6, 2010

Once again, Radclyffe doesn't let you down. In Trauma Alert you will get what you expect... an intriguing romance. The characters are appealing and as always, hot and sexy. Radclyffe's ability to tell the same story with a different spin is proof of her amazing finesse as a fiction writer. The cameo appearance of past characters is always a treat and a reminder of other great Radclyffe books. If you like a good romance, you will love Trauma Alert.
